The first dungeon I entered in the Thjorgard area was the Training Hall, which was a nice little romp. However, I was having trouble with the final battle with the 5-8 lizard-men who are guarding the exit, so I had to come up with a deviously cheesy plan. I buffed my party up with as many defensive spells as possible, used a poison cloud wand a couple of times and then fled for my life back to the part of the map with the water section and ropes to climb. With my prey hot on my heels, I opened the door and jumped onto the safety of a rope. From there, I was able to hold down the mouse button and nap for a good ten minutes as they lizard men all circled in the water below the rope like sharks. It was cheesy, but still quite fun.

I also wandered around the mines and had them explored completely before venturing into the city itself, which as it turns out, saved me some time in fixing the slug extractor. I felt that these mines were a little dull to be honest, hardly any of the miners say anything! Bah! I'm not sorry for bothering ye, that's why I clicked on ye on the first place!
But I was thankful for the scattered attribute raising barrels found throughout.

So its back to Drangheim now to finish off this mysterious Verhoffin quest...and then onwards to Frosgard!
