However, these files failed when the program tested the accuracy of the new versions.So, where is the error coming from? Hmmm.... You can't have a bad download of the patch because the patch tests itself before proceeding. You don't have bad versions of the originals because the patch tests those as well.
Something is happening during the actual patching process. Whatever it is will be happening either in RAM or on accessing your disk. Have you disabled all background programs? Do you have your RAM overclocked? Do you have your virtual memory set oddly?
