Anyway, tto recap what my situation is a a curwent playing mm6
and when I a done with that mm7 and then maybe or or 9 with the new popatch yyou all did.

Anyway, I decuded to play then on my win98se machine, it just seemed simpler to set up.

I am currently just fnishing 6 and am thinking about how I am
going to set up 7 and of course that rases the eternak question that sages have been pondering for years.

Do thw 6 throug 9 games play best with dirext 8.1 or 9.0b? I think i caan run it on either but an stronglt temoted to downgrade for 9 to 8 because I have heard they work better with the mm and thew new 9 does, and I seem to remember Bones saying
8.1 was better.

Also has anyone had any experience with a Geforece 4 t1 vewrses
an ati radeon9600xt. The xt is newer but I am wonderinf of the older card might not be better.

Once again, I apologize for asking so many questions. I have an entire room fill of computer parts and can swap in pretty much anything, which may be part of my problem-too many choices.

And no, I do not have a job in computers, I am retired. When
I wworked I was never this precise about everything but I take my gaaming seriously. I keep aall my parts in one room, all my millions of old games in another room (well, mabe not millions but a lit, my wife in a third room, and my cat in a fourth room.
SSo as you see, I would have the ideal situation if I only knew with dirext x was better. And by better I mean most stable
and better looking, not necessaryily the fastest, although that would be nice to.

Will I am not going to olay anything agin until I hear some
opinios so it is up to you all to help. On a win98se machine wich is consiideder better for them mm's 8.1 or 9.0b?
