...you don't have enough free memory. The further one goes in the game the bigger the HDR files get. They are the save files that keep track of things like your party's inventory and where you are in the game. The further into the game you get the more things there are to keep track of.Also, several folks have stated the belief that LithTech2 games tend to be 'leaky' -- use memory and don't release it when they are finished with it.
The result is that a level can fail to load if there isn't enough room for it in RAM. You can add more RAM, of course, but that shouldn't be necessary. Make sure you exit programs running in the background; virus-scanners are a major culprit. As a last resort you can re-boot. That should free up the most memory and give you a clean start.
