It does sound like a CD drive problem -- assuming that the disc isn't bad. Sometimes slower is better. Are there any obvious surface defects? (Make sure to clean radially.) Can the disk directory structure be browsed? And DX9 is another possible suspect. I hope these suggestions help. |
