Ok, when I first bought MM9 it was utterly unplayable... THe graphics were an explosion of weird broken polygons and and blur of undiscernable nonsense.. Finally the 1.2 patch made the graphics fine an playable.. But after playing for about a week now, I am going insane from the bugs!! Anytime I switch scenes (the load screen with the little boat) I have about a 1/3 chance of being dropped to the main menu.. At first I just quicksaved before doing ANYTHING... I would just have to reload the program. Now that I'm further in the game I'll need to go somewhere and I can't.. I'll have to actually reboot the computer.. Then it might not work again, so I have to reboot again.. I reboot about 2-5 times an hour of playing...! Sometimes I'll just be walking in a town and BAM! Back to windows.. Or an undead will cast a spell...BAM! back to windows (like my Emeril impression??) About 1 or 2 times a day on the load screen nothing will happen at all...Won't even drop me to windows.. No little boat telling me something is happening.. Eventually (minutes pass) and I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE and manually close the program... I have closed every possible non-essential program before playing, but I see no improvements.. And why does fleet foot's effects disappear any time a monster appears? thats a pain, too..
Ok, so thats the end of my rant. thanks for listening (er, reading..) its been theraputic for me.. Now I'm off to reboot and try again..
