How long do you carry on before calling it a game?

When it comes to the late game with its half a million gold or more, spellbooks and equipment maxed out and pretty much linear development with hosts of mindless monsters, I just try to go over it as fast as I can. And when I get the win screen, I don't long for more late-game. So I'd like to know your opinion on this .
