OK, so a couple of years back (Shudder) I'd mentioned writing a recap/fanfiction about an adventure in MM7 that I'd started, specifically for said story. I haven't been able to add much to it in recent months, due to a lot of things IRL that have needed my attention. (Ah, the joys of being a homeowner!)Anyway, I had wanted to post the introduction, where the four first hear of the Scavenger Hunt. But then, I thought of posting about the trek to Emerald Island, and the itinerary that they took. (I took some artistic liberties to create a new resort town at Hermit's Isle, as a hint.) Finally, I became torn between those two, as well as a couple of conversations they had.
The first conversation was on Emerald Island, after they'd slain Morcarak and sold off all his hoarded treasure. That mostly elaborated a little bit on the Night Of Shooting Stars -- as well as what became of the adventurers from VI, after Alexis came up with the idea of ditching the contest, going home, and banking all the gold. The other was an argument they'd had among each other after arriving at their ruined castle.
So, I'll leave it up to you. Do you want to see the introduction, the itinerary, the elaboration, or the argument? I would post the whole thing, but I really don't want to blow up the place, as it's kind of long, even though their castle still hasn't been fixed yet, nor have I even trained them to Level 2. And, what happens next is on hold for a while until I get some time to devote to it again.
