I'm very glad indeed you have recovered; it must have been a bad attack to keep you away from your computer over the whole of December!I hope you don't suffer any of the long-term effects that have been reported. A friend of mine had Covid and lost a lot of his sense of taste – he said it was the first time in his life he was able to enjoy a really hot curry without feeling as though somebody had just lit a fire in his mouth. Anyway, he had his annual influenza vaccination and, mush to his surprise, a couple of days later his sense of taste returned.
He doesn't know for certain if the 'flu vaccination had anything to do with his getting his taste back or if it's just coincidence, but he wonders if it's a possibility. This may have happened to others, but I've not heard of any other instances.
