It's true: even at my advanced age, I still learn things. (My paradise would be a university, where all of the subjects were offered at no charge, and none were required--nothing but elective courses. Whoopee!) I had read that all the really expensive items were always assumed to be guineas, and if you had to ask, you obviously couldn't afford it. |
