Our favorite local supermarket started carrying Athletic (brand, (which AFAIK, was the modern pioneer, and which has numerous styles and beer names,) Deschutes'."Black Butte" (a porter from Bend, Oregon,) and Sierra Nevada's "Trail Pass" IPA.) There was also another brand available, but I can't remember what, as it didn't sound like any of our faves. Papa Elf and I are both taking so %#!**!! many pills and potions that we are limited in our alcohol consumption. But we're at least still vertical, not horizontal, as my favorite remaining (and only) first cousin is fond of saying.
