If it had to happen, I was so glad it happened now, after there's been time to develop the vaccines and other curatives, instead of when Covid was gathering pace and strength, 3 years or so ago. Always better to stay out of hospital if at all possible. There are too many sick people in there, and you never know what else you'll pick up. Besides, I've had a few sessions in hospital myself, and after the first hour or so, I was bored to tears. I couldn't even find 3 more bridge players |
