Original Message:   Ooh, let me guess:
I don't really know German (except for ordering bier, ja,) and I know "Good day" is "Guten Tag," so I'm guessing "God Jul" must be one of the other Teutonic tongues. Hmm. Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Swiss, Austrian? I'll guess Danish, since the Tavern was "built" in Denmark, or more correctly, re-established after Redneck departed. And "gott nytt år" is "happy new year?" or perhaps "good night!"
