as mentioned by Peter2. The Banker NPC gives +20% on gold "found". The bug is that this includes withdrawals from banks. Hire Banker, deposit gold, withdraw +20%, repeat as desired. Given you can carry unlimited gold anyway, the only real value is not losing it in a TPK. But I don't know anyone who wouldn't simply reload a TPK anyway. So I've never used the banks, other than to collect the King/Queen quest reward cash in MM7
