I haven't made up my mind yet. It's kind of long, since it's a recap of sorts. Having said that, I've used that adventure I'd started in MM7 also as a means of testing some theories I've had about the game; further down (About a year or two back,) I have a thread dedicated to my observations from these experiments. A brief summary, though...my party's from New Sorpigal, found out about the Scavenger Hunt after getting a flyer in the mail one morning, and decided to "Try their luck." Thus, I've taken a number of "Artistic liberties," to get them to Emerald Island from New Sorpigal, as well as on a few other details. As a result, I have quite a few nods and references to MM6 in my story. In the aforementioned thread, I do have a sample segment from the story, as they explored their ruined castle, after clearing out all the goblins and vermin. Look for a decent-sized thread that starts with "Theoretical question." It's on Page 2 of this Tavern. Under that thread, the sample is the topic "Writing sample." |
