Original Message:   Windows 10, anyone?
Has anyone changed over to Win10 yet? I'm still playing MM10, and just got my notice that 10 was downloaded and ready to install. Microsoft, with its demonstrated keen appreciation of games and gamers (not!) hasn't said a word about any possible game conflicts. But then, I guess that might not be possible, since there are so many, many games out there, with all sorts of configurations and requirements. Needless to say, I'm not switching over until it appears that all future games will require it, or that it miraculously plays nicely with all the old games we all love.

Yeah, I know I swore (at and off) MM10, but have heard that the DLC's make it all worthwhile. I've learned to anticipate and work around most of the familiar crashes. (If the action starts to get a little too herky-jerky, stop and reboot. If it crashes to Steam, just hit the Escape key, and like as not it will go right back to where you left off.) One thing has me puzzled, though. The secret doors now apparently flatly will not work with the lead character. (This was never a problem before, but I've started a new party.) For example, my Might 60 Orc Barbarian simply cannot open a secret door with a Might symbol on it, but the Might 40 Defender or Hunter next to him can open it with ease. Tain't natural, tain't fair, tain't normal, tain't fittin', to misquote my favorite slacker in "Poldark."
