Anyway, Papa Elf and I have just returned from a week in Aquitaine, on a riverboat cruise through the Bordeaux wine country. Non mes amis, the French have not converted me from being a beer connoisseur to being an oenophile. (Look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls, as Rowan and Martin used to say.) So here's a keg of Elf Ale, made with some hops I picked up on the way to Charles deGaulle Airport this morning. As usual, if you would prefer the fruit of the vine instead of the malt of the grain, the magical brew will taste like that to you.
