Original Message:   There was a combination of reasons why I enjoyed the Might and Magic series so much.
1. The gameplay is non-linear and there is a large random factor in treasure placements, which gives good "replayability". (This is where the "Eye of the Beholder games fell down.)

2. There are keyboard commands which, when you learn them, are MUCH faster than the mouse

3. The game can be played in both real-time and turn-based modes, real-time being ideal for a lot of the physical combat, and turn-based for spell-casting (you often need time to pick the spell to cast)
