. . . I always seriously regretted that my access to the net in those days was severely curtailed by the size of my telephone bill which, because I needed it for my work, was monstrous. I paid the occasional visit under the handle of Peter, but didn't become a frequent visitor until I got broadband. That, of course, changed my access details, so that when I rejoined as Peter, I was told that that handle was already in use. I could have argued, but it was simpler to become Peter2. I wish I could remember exactly when that was, but it was so long ago now that the details are lost in the mental mists of time.
