As long as you use them on a Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday or Thursday they will boost one of your stats/resistances permanently. The stat affected is the same one that would be affected by a stat shrine that month (so Jan = Might, Feb = Int e.t.c). How much the stat gets boosted by is the week number in the month (so +1 if used on the 1st-4th, +2 if used on the 8th-11th, +3 on the 15-18th and +4 on the 22nd-25th) Don't use them on a Friday, Sat or Sun.
