Yup, I use it all the time. Whenever I train (every 8-10 levels) I then spend all the money I have > 50,000,000 to train XP. For me at least it gives unlimited xp as long as I don't try to use it in turn-based mode. If I do I get about 50K xp worth before it stops. In realtime mode, I just hold the spacebar down, which gives me 50K rapidly, then release it and press again for another 50K. I can do that as much as I like (well, the most I've done to-date is about 6 million xp (1.5M for each party member) in one session)
