I was having all sorts of problems untill I switched to Windows 8.1 and upgraded my RAM to 8GB. From that point on it worked like dream. No crashes and smooth play. There has been a lot of critisism of the game on the official forum which i think is a little unfair. it's not the best in the series but in my view it's a lot better than MM9. Also IMHO it does have a might and magic feel about it. Spent an absolute fortune on mana potions though and i certainly needed the healer NPC.
