Peter2 computed that the maximum level you can take is 26. Boosted with ring of dark magic and Guinevere, it rises to 63, and that's the maximum. Otherwise it just overflows and you'll feel like level 1 (or 3 or something very low). (It seems strange to me that the skill levels are stored in 6 bits ... who knows why have they done it so.) (IIRC, the numbers should be +/- 3 correct) |
