| I don't really know a lot about this, but somewhere in the settings is an option on whether to use hardware or software for something or other - acceleration, possibly. Whatever it was, I tried using hardware initially. It gave me much better definition on the monsters, but it made the game seriously unstable, and I found that using the software option instead made the game more playable. It might be worth checking which option you're using and see if changing it helps |
