Star Trek for one Werewolves in blackshire - i think might be from some movie... I havent studied it, but i remember there were quite a bit. 5-10 years ago i read somewhere the list someone made... Also now it will be hard for me to find any references even if i try because game is from 1998 and its based upon popular culture of 80s and 90s, i was a kid when game was released so i really should be watching lot of old movies, listen to pop songs, go to theaters, read books and then from all that information try to figure out something. And there might be some references from classics like Jules Verne(Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea - LINKOLN in MM7 maybe, or some influence at least), H. G. Wells(War of the worlds, The Time Machine - or tv show Stargate SG-1, which might be influenced by both and from which again might be infulenced mm7 aliens in Celeste), possibly series "Alien" with Sigourney Weaver - the devils idea. But really i think at the 80s, 90s there were so many movies, books, shows, songs, jokes about governments and spies that if you didnt live in that time, its hard to figure it out.
