I also almost never play TB. In TCC (or the original MM6 for that matter) I have never used TB anywhere, but I do use it in MM7 (original, not Rev4 mod) to kill the Red Dragon at level 1, using the wand of fireballs (and 1 scroll of recharge) from Mr. Markham (I let the dragonflies kill him).
