Assassins get the best GM Blade bonus by far, an additional attack (2 attacks for 2 daggers in each hand) for every 3 skill levels after level 10. At level 10, they have 4 attacks with 2 daggers. So an Assassin with GM Blade 19 will have 4 +
(9 / 3) * 2 = 10 attacks. This only works with daggers! He won't have this bonus if he has a sword in either hand.Spear is the weapon of choice for the Gladiator. With 2 spears, GM Spear and GM Armsmaster, a Gladiator will have 6 attacks. With GM Sword and GM Armsmaster he will only have 4.
A Paladin can also GM Sword but since he's the only one in the game who can GM Cudgel I prefer to give him that. With GM Cudgel and armed with Thjorad, a well-trained Paladin can sometimes kill a big badass monster faster than an Assassin and a Gladiator could draw their weapons
