scanned through all the posts in the mmix tavern didn't see anything that addressed this issue. i'm having a wickedly difficult time getting through the dungeon of secrets so i can earn my crusader promotion to ranger. i understand what i'm supposed to do, that's not the problem, but working with keyboard/mouse rather than a joystick makes the fireball room and the trapped floor room impossible (at least for me).tried a cheat. went through intending to fail and set up beacons that i could use to teleport pass the traps, then started the trials over again, but still set them off (apparently).
any one have suggestions for how i might pass these rooms?
