Ossie writes: I remember seeing on this board, way back when MM8 first came out, something about "Day of the Destroyer" originally not being a Might & Magic game, and it was retrofitted to be MM8 relatively late in development. This is why there were significant differences from MM6&7 - races as classes, solo hero with "companions" rather than party etc. Ring any bells? Any other info anyone can remember?
