Try to take out these nasties at a distance; their close-range attacks can do a lot of Damage and have ugly Bonuses as well. Their chance of casting a long-range Spell attack increases after they've cast either Bless or Heroism on themselves, so an ocassional Dispel Magic works wonders. Vampires have no Resistance against Light or Physical Damage.
