well, like all other windows xp users, I've had to suffer the skippy sound (variably skippy, occasionally flawless) and jerky movies of mm7 because it's too much trouble to hook up my other hard disk just to play mm7.anyhow, I tried removing the "compress directory to save space" attribute from my mm7 directory, and miraculously the startup movie and the arbiter movie are now smooth as a baby's bottom.
unfortunately the endgame movie is still as jerky as a red top bus going down a high street, so, bugger that. ah well. I think I can understand what he's saying so that's okay. something about gates, and worlds, and wars.
oh and is it just me, or does the Lincoln look suspiciously like the battlestar galactica.
