    There's a program called 'dzdiag' that I'd like you to run. It's usualy easiest to get to by clicking Start -> Run, typing in 'dxdiag' and hitting Enter. (It can also be found in your \Windows\System32 folder.)

    DxDiag will let you view lots of info, but let's start with what appears on the first tab. Please tell us what it lists as your Operating System and your DirectX Version.
