The music in MM7 is stored as CD audio tracks. The Miles Sound System routines used to hear that music rely on an audio cable being attached to your drive. Most software these days gets music digitally over the data cable, so you might not even have the audio cable hooked up. Open your case and look for two wires connected to the left side of the back face of your optical drive. If it's not there, get one (somewhere!) and connect your drive to your system's sound circuits -- either to your motherboard or an add-on sound card. |
