And I think moders like the guy that make Oblivion to Crysis or JA2 1.13 or the one that made Grayface patch don’t want to steal or damage, just extend lifetime of some good game.
Rules must apply with logic.
These companies never complain about these little mods, I think Microprose is very proud about some of is games still can be played thanks to moders, one of the best examples is the Seb76, he alone make the game X-Com playable in modern PC.
Of course my opinion is not an absolute truth…
