Elf writes: Found "King's Bounty, the Legend" in my Christmas stocking. (I musta been a good Elf this year!) It's rather difficult, but I'm sure I can (eventually) manage it. It's different from all the HoMM's in that there is no castle-building. You acquire troops and equipment at various locations throughout the game. It's a LOT different from Jon Van Caneghem's original "King's Bounty." One touch I'm sure you'll all appreciate, though: one available shield emblem is a mailed fist, labelled "Iron Fist." Way to go! I can't remember, though: was there ever a land in KB, any of the HoMM's or MM's, called Endoria? There is in this game, and it sounds awfully familiar. There are no Barbarian races available, but I named my Knight Crag Hack, anyway.
