... was turning off "Auto-Run". I played for years with it on, thinking that real-time fighting in this game was absurdly difficult. When AutoRun is on, characters take like twice as long to recover and attack again, and that sucks. Finally I saw something here about that, and ever since I've found attacking in real-time way easier (and funner once that M gets GM Unarmed and starts punching).However, Might parties still require one to use one's wits and unless one takes KKKK or MMMM (my favorite xoxoxox) one can't conduct oneself like Mechanized Armor.
