Carrot-like Wombat Thing writes: The question is, does one need to use anabolic steroids to become a grandmaster? After all, the actual *skill* involved is the same whether or not one uses gear. An 80kg natural bodybuilder is every bit as skilled at bodybuilding as a 130kg, dianabol-pumped behemoth, and probably healthier constitutionally. Yet the steroids will enable faster recovery from injury, so the steroid-pumped builder has higher HP.
