... APCS for a Light Path party in MM7. The Archer will still get Paralyze, and the Elemental spells are more damaging than the Self spells. Besides, the Archer can get the Disarm skill (Expert when fully developed), which I find a huge advantage. None of the others of PCS can learn that skill at all, and I got sick and tired of chests blowing up on me and having to heal my party afterwards. I know Telekinesis can open traps safely at a distance, but you have to be able to see the chest to do it, and in most cases indoors, there simply isn't enough room to maintain line of sight of the chest and get outside the trap's blast radius.
