a character without Water Magic Skill (might or magic char) has about a 1 in 10 chance. An elemental magic user that has the skill as a chance based the number of points allocated to the skill (i.e., 1 pt=10%, 2 pts=20%, etc.). Apparently skill level (Expert, Master, GM) has not bearing on the chance of success, just the number of points. 10 or more pts means 100% success. |
