If you want a logical explanation, then I guess it would go something like "because most poisons are delivered in solution, and solid acids don't have much effect until they either dissolve or become liquid." But that's just a rationalisation, and there are no guarantees it's correct. After all, if I were designing a game I would class a spell such as Poison Cloud as an Air spell, but it would still do Body damage. |
