The characters constitute the default party from MM3. It did, however, consist only of six main members. The "Light" side were Crag Hack the barbarian, Sir Caneghem the paladin, and Resurectra the cleric. The "Dark" side consisted of Maximus the knight, Kastore the sorcerer, and Dark Shade the thief. In MM7 you will find the first 3 in Celeste, and the second 3 in The Pit. I don't know who the other two were that came out of the sea; there were a multitude of possibilities - each of the towns in MM3 hosted two more NPCs. The only three I can remember off-hand were Allan Bow the archer, Son of Abu the ninja, and The Raven, who was a sorcerer.
