Neither I nor my friends have ever had much luck with emulators for games. 09/09/2006, 10:38:37 |
I was told years ago that this was because games designers used the full capacities of the chips, and emulators couldn't cope with the finer details. I know that in the pre-windows days, games often made extensive use of undocumented DOS calls to squeeze the last fraction of possible speed out of the processors. |
