Not from any moralistic standpoint, just that IMO it's a better game. Tackling The Pit with a Light party has to be one of the finest battles in the whole Might & Magic canon, and without the massive damaging effects of Dragon Breath and Shrapmetal, you need to do a lot more melée fighting.I found the Dark Path party of ACSS so powerful that the game was too easy. I got bored, and never finished it. I just took it far enough to do most of the Dark Path quests that were not available to a Light party, and then left it. IIRC my party is still languishing in Titan Towers, or whatever the name of that place in Avlee is.
