I suspect that is due in considerable part to the blue&white motif and pastoral background music for the Light Path compared to the ominous red&black motif and more "threatening" music for the Dark Path. I got far enough on the dark Path to have completed all the Dark-specific quests, but then completely lost enthusiasm due to boredom, as I said. I might replay Dark again some time in the future, using a druid. I don't like the character, but I'm curious about the effect of the second promo quest on the character's abilities. Incidentally, the dark path is usually equated with evil. Despite this, I noted with interest that the actions of the "dark" judge corresponded roughly to the legal aphorism: "Thou must not kill, but needst not strive,
