if u have a wireless mouse and keyboard, then the game will not work.try creating your own shortcut to mm7.exe instead of using the one that the install creates.
start the config untility disable hardware mode for audio and see if the game starts. U may have to do this for video also.
goto mm7.exe and select compatablity mode.
uninstall and game completely, and then install the game under compatability mode by browsing the install cd for setup, right click it, select properties, compatability mode and choose win95 or win98/Me
