...an ordinary hex editor, and you can get freebies of those in all sorts of places. It means you have to learn the format of the savegames, but that's well doable. I never had any game-specific editors, but I learned how to do this in pre-net days. Be careful, though, and back up your savegame. It's not difficult to make mistakes, and also one of the editors I came across did something to the savegame which prevented the game from reading the edited file. |
