My own quirks include these: in order to claim the Arcomage title, I must have won more games than I have lost at each tavern, not just one game. (In my last MM7 that meant repeated visits to the inn at Deyja, and a final score of 20 wins versus 18 losses--just in Deyja). I will not use Armageddon if it will hurt anyone except enemies. I make a special effort to save the lives of friendly guards (in Harmondale near the fort, and on the heights of Tatalia versus the trolls). I won't kill any of the hostile trees in Tularia, since they have every reason to be mad at "walkers".
