Artifact can't be used? 01/10/2006, 20:48:32

Christy writes: I looted the Emerald Island dragon for the artifact Charele, which is a trident. The description does NOT say it is only for one race and/or character class, however, I have a knight with the spear skill, and he tells me he can't use it. What is it if not a spear? Or can't the artifacts be used?
