...which is good and which is evil depends on where in the world you are. For example, the right-facing swastika, as used by the Nazis, is a good symbol in Indian Buddhism, whereas outside India, the left-facing swastika is very much more common. It appears on Japanese maps to indicate a Temple, and on packaging in China to indicate that the food inside is suitable for vegetarians. |
