Back when I play MM7 for the first time, I noticed the graphics of the monsters and villagers are quick pixellated (I used the option of "extra graphics").When compared to the pictures on the CD case... there's such a big difference.
But I didn't care and played MM7 many times anyways.
Recently I reinstalled MM7 with the WinXP fix (again with extra graphics). While trying to solve a keyboard problem, I found a registry key: resolution. Its value is zero.
I tried changing it to 1, and launched MM7. It complainted that files are missing and I need to reinstall.
That got me thinking: Perhaps I've been using the low quality graphics all these years? Did something go wrong during my installation, so I didn't get the high resolution graphics?
